Bards are historians, entertainers, storytellers, singers and songwriters and they are embodied with skills from both the rogue and sorcerer classes. They are blessed with the talent of music and can, with practice, play any instrument. A bard's music can invoke many different magical auras that range anywhere from a lullabye that puts opponents to sleep, to a rowdy tune that inspires heroism, to a soft melody that soothes the soul and promotes healing of the body.
Bards cannot become master mages, as their muscial talents are more defensive than offensive in nature. They are nomadic by nature and wander the Realms of Faerun collecting stories and songs.
Bards receive a limited number of spells per day, only on the even circles. They do not need to memorize to receive these spells, but there is no means of increasing the rate at which they come back.
